At the of age 23, I was thrown into the proverbial leadership deep end. That’s when I was promoted without experience or support to a management role at Grumman Systems Support, a division of the FORTUNE 500 global aerospace and defense technology company, Northrup Grumman.

Since that intense sink or swim experience, I have held leadership positions in line management and human resources, at big and small companies, and at non-profit and for-profit organizations. I have coached, mediated, and consulted with senior executives and up-and-coming leaders. I have also contracted for these services for organizations in my role as a human resources leader. I have sat on boards and volunteered with philanthropic organizations, … Yes, I truly understand what it’s like to sit on all sides of the table.

When I assess what I brought to all those experiences – and what continues to energize me today – it is my aptitude and passion in engaging others, building productive working relationships, and helping professionals clarify their best next step—and take it!

I am adept at helping people see their own truths and recognize others’. I am skilled at mediating complicated situations without taking sides – such as between manager and direct report or business partners. I thrive on helping others continually evolve, get energized by ambition, and pursue new challenges and goals—no matter the stage of their career.  Most importantly, I help each client consider various perspectives, strengths, obstacles, and opportunities to move ahead with energy and commitment.
